Layout

18 long lines; ruled in ink; 76 × 49 mm.

Hand(s)

One scribe writing in Northern Textualis, in a dark brown ink.

Musical Notation:

Square notation on long staves of 4 red lines (see van Dijk 1957).

Decoration

Blue initials flourished in red ink, 2-4 lines high.

Coloured initials in alternating red and blue ink of one line in height

Initials in the same ink as the text of two lines in height found on fol. 3r, 4v.

Additions: Six lines of text added to fol. 6v by a later hand in a more cursive script. In the same light-brown ink, a decorative flourish is added to a coloured initial at the top of the same page.

Binding

White leather on boards, contemporary.
