Provenance and Acquisition

Seemingly from the same manuscript as Worcester Cathedral Library, MS. Add. 1 (fragments at least in part from the bindings Worcester Cathedral manuscripts); one scribe's work in the manuscript has also been identified in the Vespasian Psalter (BL Cotton MS. Vesp. A. i) and the 'Royal Bible' (BL Royal MS. 1. E. vi, both from Canterbury: R. Gameson, The Earliest Books of Canterbury Cathedral (2008), p. 61.

Formerly part of the binding of a parish register at Dymock, Gloucestershire.

Given by the churchwardens of Dymock 11 May 1891.
